  • Wildwood Summer Theatre - (Bethesda, MD) - Based in lower Montgomery County, we are the only fully independent all-youth summer theatre in the Washington, DC area. Created and sustained by an unbroken chain of young people, who first learn and gradually come to teach the practical realities of mounting a full-scale theatrical production, Wildwood has produced at least one musical each summer since 1965. The most remarkable thing about this record of accomplishment is that all members of WST are between the ages of 14 and 25.
