Salisbury University: Department of Physical Education

Salisbury University Dance Company
- (Salisbury, MD) - The SU Dance Company originated in 1960 as the Modern Dance Club. Since then, it has provided opportunities for hundreds of students to experience ballet, ethnic, jazz and modern dance through performance, choreography and production. Over the yrs, the Co. has been funded in part by student fees distributed through the Student Appropriations Board. It has received grants from the MD State Arts Council and the Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council, agencies funded through the state of MD and the National Endowment for the Arts.
