  • Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum - (St. Michaels, MD) - Where the stories of the Bay and its people come alive! Explore nine exhibit buildings on 18 waterfront acres in scenic St. Michaels, Maryland. With a working boatyard, an impressive collection of decoys and an interactive waterman's shanty, there's something of interest for everyone.   • B&O Railroad Museum - (Baltimore, MD) - A fascinating, fun place for kids, families, and lovers of history and American railroading. The most comprehensive collection in the Western Hemisphere. Over 20 new exhibits and events celebrating 175 years of American railroading, now through July 2003. Free parking.
  • St. Clement's Island-Potomac River Museum - (Colton's Point, MD) - A nationally accredited museum that interprets Maryland's earliest history with the first colonial landing at St. Clement's Island in March of 1634. Water taxi to St. Clement's Island, Birthplace of Maryland, available weekends Memorial Day to Labor Day, weather permitting. Picnic and pier facilities. Call for more info.
  • Cold War Museum - (Fairfax, VA) - A 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to education, preservation, and research on the global, ideological, and political confrontations between East and West from the end of World War II to the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
