- Sharing Foundation - (Arnold, MD) - A local nonprofit organization whose purpose is to assist the families of the working needy and special situation families in Anne Arundel County. These families work at a job, so they do not qualify for any government assistance. The working needy are barely able to supply the basics for their children. Most of the time money is hard to come by for the extras, such as nice presents to open on Christmas morning, a good warm, winter coat, children's books, school supplies, field trips, class pictures, and other small things that most of us take for granted.

- Voices for Children - (Baltimore, MD) - Voices for Children trains volunteers to be Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for abused and neglected children in Howard County's Juvenile Court System. Volunteers provide emotional support and advocacy for these children as they go through the child welfare system. Voices provides training and supervision to volunteers.
- Maryland Food Bank - (Baltimore, MD) - Provides donated grocery products to non-profit feeding programs (soup kitchens, pantries, churches, afterschool programs, emergency feeding programs, etc.). In fiscal year 2000, 10,763,886 pounds of food worth more than $18 million were distributed. Of our total revenue, 95.6% goes back into our programs. The MFB is a charter member of America's Second Harvest, the national network of 188 food banks.
